Zip Awnings are specially made for alfresco and patio areas to increase indoor/outdoor living space comfort. They are designed for shading but will also keep the insects out and help with mild wind and rain. All have a hood and side channels and the awning is kept taut by a zip system (sometimes known as a side retention system or SRS). Zip awnings can be known by many different names but all perform in similar ways. Ziptrak, Zipscreen (Acmeda) and Alpha Awnings (Hunter Douglas) are all licensed products. At Heritage Blinds we offer Zipscreen and Alpha Awnings. Both come with a 5-year warranty and are fantastic products.
These Zip systems are all available in Crank, Spring or Motorised.
These awnings (as with all our motorised awnings) can be paired with a wind sensor so that the awning retracts during windy times, to avoid damage to your awning.
